The Hobbit, 2009

There's been alot of talk and a whole load of rumors over who should play Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's glorious new version of the Hobbit, coming out hopefully sometime soonish. Most people are casting the dice between three champions....Daniel Radcliffe (the dude from Harry Potter, by the way he's all of twenty and around 5'5 or 5'6....yes, short man),David Tennant (He's the oldest one, at about 38 and counting up to 6 ft 2, also if you didn't know he stars in Dr.Who, the best TV series of all time...and apparently he's also the best Doctor), or the eternally hot James McAvoy (he's all of 30, 5'7 [same as me :D whoo] plays everything from the faun in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe to the sensitive hero in Atonement). Heights not considering, who fits the Hobbit the best? Mr.Geeky from Harry Potter, who's both short and...well, I always pictured Bilbo as baby-faced. Lets just say he fits. The Doctor, who's a bit intense and intelligent for the plump little hobbit, or even the most dashing and flute-playing faun-man. In my opinion---neither.

I'm voting for the brilliant Jim Sturgess, who you might have seen starring in Across the Universe, 21, or playing a small part as the beheaded brother in The Other Boleyn Girl. Ok, he's not well-known, but playing as Bilbo could surely give him a kick-off as a household name. He has the right face; little grin on the side there, and I think gaining a coupla pounds could do wonders for this little man. What do you think?

Yes, I know, I'm always right. Feel free to post complaints. :D
